THE CYCLE
Your free guide to living in rhythm with yourself
PRACTICAL. GROUNDING. WITCHY
When the system
TOLD YOU YOUR RHYTHMS WERE INCONVENIENT, YOUR FEELINGS TOO MUCH, AND YOUR NEED FOR REST A WEAKNESS
AND SOME PART OF YOU BELIEVED IT…
When your body
HAS BEEN WHISPERING SLOW DOWN LOUDER THAN YOU CAN IGNORE
AND YOU'RE EXHAUSTED FROM OVERRIDING HER…
When you’re showing up to your life
AS A FRACTION OF WHO YOU KNOW YOU ARE, CRAVING SOMETHING THAT FEEDS YOUR SOUL
AND NOT JUST YOUR TO-DO LIST…
When you sense
THERE IS ANOTHER WAY, A MORE MATRIARCHAL WAY, TO LIVE
AND YOU'RE READY TO REMEMBER IT…
hear this—
YOU ARE NOT THE PROBLEM
THE SYSTEM WAS NEVER BUILT FOR YOU
And there is another way.
NATURE HAS ALWAYS KNOWN IT. AND SO, SOMEWHERE DEEP INSIDE, HAVE YOU.
The system we've been handed — the one that tells us to produce steadily, show up consistently, and keep going no matter what, was built around a 24-hour hormonal cycle.
Men reset every 24 hours.
But women reset every 28 days.
We were never meant to live this way. And learning to live our way — in rhythm with our own nature — isn't just good for us individually. It's how we begin to build a different kind of world.
This is where that begins.
HERE’S WHAT NO ONE TOLD US:
Learning to live in rhythm with The Cycle was my first act of detoxing from internalized patriarchy.
Living cyclically asked me to do something the system never had: to trust my body. To honour my rest. To stop measuring my worth by what I produced.
That's not a small thing. It's actually quietly revolutionary.
Because when a woman stops overriding her rhythms and starts living from them, something shifts. Not just in her energy or her productivity.
But in how she leads and relates. How she moves through the world.
This is what I've come to understand as matriarchal living — not a political stance, but a daily practice. One that begins in your own body, and ripples outward.
The Cycle is the portal in.
You stop fighting yourself, and start moving with your nature
Rest stops feeling like failure and starts feeling like high R.O.I. fuel
Your intuition gets louder, and you begin to trust your inner knowing
Decisions come easier, creativity flows more freely, life feels less like an uphill struggle
You begin to sense your place in something larger — the Earth's rhythms, the lunar cycle, a lineage of women who lived this way before us
And quietly, incrementally, you begin to lead differently. From the inside out.
When you begin to live this way:

WHAT WOMEN ARE SAYING…
A Note from Alex
I'm Alexandra Raquel — a ceremonial guide, feminine leadership coach, and the founder of Conectada, based in Tkaronto (Toronto), Canada.
For years I studied systems — environmental, political, developmental — trying to understand why the world is the way it is and what it would take to change it. And what I kept coming back to was this: the outer systems we want to change are reflections of the inner systems we haven't yet questioned or healed.
The way we manage our time and energy. The way we relate to our bodies. The way we measure our worth. These aren't personal quirks — they're cultural conditioning. And they can be unlearned.
Cyclical living was one of the first things that helped me begin that unlearning. It's also what I now teach as the foundation of my year-long moon circle community, 13 Moons — a space for women who are ready to go deeper.
But it starts here. With one cycle. One season. One small act of listening.
I'm glad you found your way.
